As a member of the development team, you will be expected to produce software to a given specification in addition to thinking 'outside the box' to identify opportunities, potential issues and solutions to colleagues. You would also be responsible for producing software to our standards and checking the quality of other members of the development team.
In addition to an abundance of programming talent you will need a passion for technology of all kinds - particularly Internet technology. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Apache and a host of other Web technologies. Knowledge of VB, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, Java, J2EE, JSP, C, C++, Hibernate, Nhibernate, Perl, Ruby On Rails, IIS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL would be an advantage. You will be able to monitor, assess and mentor other staff, providing feedback on progress to the Production Manager.
