Objectives
When i-site first contacted Mrs Hart, the Hotel website was some 4 years old and did not portray anything of the charm and welcome of this privately owned hotel. Its' one useful business purpose was to provide a link from various tourism portal sites, but then the site produced a very poor conversion rate from enquiries to bookings on line.
With a limited budget Mrs Hart asked i-site to redeem the hotel's web presence and secure more bookings.
Our Approach
The first step for our consultant was to get a feel for the Hotel itself, and her visit to site provided the key to the project - quality.
The Holgate Hill Hotel has levels of comfort, service and charm which were quite unexpected given its' previous portrayal on the web. The key objective of the redesigned site therefore was simply to give a look and feel which properly conveyed this to potential clients, along with the clear and concise delivery of all relevant information on services.
Our Solution
Within 3 weeks i-site delivered and hosted the new site. With a clean, elegant design and strong visuals of the hotel (sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words), the site has been an immediate success with an increase in both overall bookings and conversion rates from web inquiries. Mrs Hart, the proprietor, is delighted and believes she now has the website her beautiful hotel deserves.
