What the client thought of us...
“I-site Digital worked hard for us, in building a site for the re-launch of our newly re-branded major development, Chevin Park, in Leeds. Achieving an elegant solution within the tight constraints of what seemed an impossible deadline, by delivering on time and on budget to meet the critical Easter housing market…”

Objectives
Our Approach
Given instruction on the site at the start of March for an Easter launch, time was of the essence on this project. To ensure the site was delivered on schedule, it was agreed with the client that i-site would drive the project forward, liaising directly with all image and copy suppliers, with daily updates to Gladedale’s central control team.
Key to the i-site approach was planning in three key areas: - the development of an in depth understanding of how the web presence should integrate into the overall sales process, the blending of the website’s “look and feel” with offerings in other media, and the detailed planning of the structure of the site since time allowed for no redrafts. We had to get this right first time!
With Gladedale’s marketing department pulling out all the stops to assist with any queries the planning, design and build of the site went very smoothly, with all testing and live hosting achieved within 5 weeks.
Our Solution
In the property sales market, especially on such a prestigious development as Chevin Park, the simple priority is to show the product. To this end i-site developed a website with a particular emphasis on eye-catching visuals, with a series of morphing images on page headers, strong visual content on each page, and a series of galleries showing build quality, specification, surrounding countryside etc.
While conveying all the information a prospective purchaser might reasonably require, text was kept to a minimum and always clearly presented. Pages were consistently styled with great emphasis being given to the graphic representation of the new re-branded development name.
When trialled, consumers commented on the clear and open information delivery of the site and to the styling giving a look and feel of quality and permanence. The site was then tested over a wide configuration of hardware and browsers to ensure maximum accessibility, and launched on schedule just before Easter 2007.
Although just part of an overall re-branding exercise, the website met with considerable acclaim and success. Sales in the 3 months subsequent to launch were four times those achieved in the prior 6 months, and Gladedale subsequently asked i-site to copy this successful format to promote their flagship East Midlands development Widmerpool Hall.
